The Wackydoodle Trunk Show - 1 Hour

This presentation follows my quilting journey through a variety of different techniques.  Sometimes realistic and sometimes totally wacky.  My collection is a truly eclectic trek.
Challenges: What to do? -30 Min.
You are calmly sitting in your quilt group enjoying life.  Then you hear " The challenge for this year is....".  Does panic set in?  Do you want to participate, but not sure what to do next?  Learn good ideas on how to approach challenges, where to find them, and why everyone should participate in them.
Yes, you can put it on your quilt! - 1 hour
Over the years I have learned how to put just about anything on my projects. Due to the Wackydoodle nature of my personality and as a fugitive from the "Quilt Police" I have discovered things can be attached to a quilt without thread.  What, without thread?!  In this lecture, learn ways to use adhesives in your projects.  How to glue fabric to fabric or anything else to fabric.  Enjoy seeing the many samples in a trunk show, plus take home a handout for future reference.
Wacky Fusion - 1 Hour
Get the original "Challenges: What to do?" lecture with a condensed version of the Wacky Doodle Trunk Show.  This is for those who want to see the 30 minute Challenges lecture, but need 1 hour of content.  A perfect fusion of both worlds.
Wacky Organizing - 1 Hour
Learn all of the wonderful ways I keep things organized and at hand, both the conventional and not so much.  My wacky way of looking at the world also lends itself to organizing my studio.  Lots of tips, tricks, and tools for making the most of your space and time.
Take It To The Next Level - 1 Hour
Follow my journey into whimsy.  Get ready for a fun-filled trip.  Take a look at how you can make your fabric panels and UFO's shine!  Different trims and embellishments can become other objects depending on how they're used.  Anything goes!

Workshops:

 3 hour  $350.00
6 hour $600.00

6 student min. - 20 student max.
Both in person and virtual

3 hour class - Pattern required

Quilted Jigsaw Puzzle Technique
With this technique students can combine two hobbies, because it is very much like piecing together a jigsaw puzzle.  A raw-edge fusible applique is used leaving a negative space between each piece.  The background fabric can be in any color, but if black is used the piece will have a wonderful stained glass look.  This is a fun class for both beginner and experienced quilters.
Sunrise/Sunset-6 hour class ($25 kit required, includes pattern)
Mountain Majesty - 6 hour class ($25 kit required, includes pattern). There are 6 different patterns to chose from.

Take It To The Next Level
Jump into the world of embellishments!  Create a small undersea garden wall hanging and learn different ways to make your fabrics, trims, and doodads come to life.  Try some new techniques.  Just relax and create your ideal coral reef.
Note: Students need to have a background sandwiched with batting and backing.
6 hour class
$25.00 kit fee per student payable to the instructor at class.

Collage Needle Case:  Have fun with collage and create a small needle case to enjoy or give as a gift.  This half day class uses scrapes of all different fabrics, both cottons and non-cottons to design a mini collage.  Then sew, add a button with a ribbon closure, and go home with a finished project.  $15.00 kit fee per student, payable to the instructor at time of class.  Pattern included in kit. 3 hours.
